Exceptions are discussing Coinbase IPO, Square Inc, Overstock, and various other tickers. Basically it has to be related to the stock because this is r/stocks. "I bought bitcoins at coinbase" doesn't count, but "Coinbase sells X amount of bitcoins which is X amount of profit for the company" does.

Think there's also a big risk that the SiC market just gets absolutely flooded. Most incremental SiC demand is for EVs and most EV demand is in China, but the Chinese SiC suppliers (and also Soitec in Europe) are also ramping up supply dramatically and they have good-enough quality and much lower prices.

well here is the thing, tech stocks will always be on the move till we figure out how to get out of this solar system. Since the beginning of humanity, we have always looked for ways to become more technological advanced. Yes, the stock market crashes every so often, but makes a recovery. And even professional investors are all in for tech stocks.

7Investing is similar except it's seven stocks and you have to check their website instead of getting an email. I'm still paper trading this one mostly to see how it compares. It's similar to Amplitrade I think, but more likely to have stocks that don't have options or at least options with very low activity (I only trade options 99% of the time).

That is inaccurate statement saying your money is safer at certain brokerages than others. You get SIPC protection no matter which brokerage you use to buy stocks. If they go under you still own those stocks up to a certain level along with the cash in you account. Just like the FDIC protection with banks.

In addition, Motley Fool goes for growth stocks, most of which are tech based, so QQQ or some weightes combination of QQQ and SPY may be a better benchmark if you want a more accurate comparison. Their investment returns look a lot worse when we compare them to QQQ or ARK Invest's funds which also focus on tech growth stocks for the most part.
